Principal Systems Engineer NPD Med Tech - Twin Cities NW Metro - Permanent up to $150k base + bonus

This is a permanent role with a global medical device manufacturer recognized for its legacy product line. The company is actively investing in next-generation platforms and sustaining engineering across a broad portfolio of Class II and III electromechanical systems. The team works onsite Tuesday through Thursday.

In this role, you'll serve as Principal Systems Engineer, driving both new product development and sustaining initiatives. Lead full product lifecycle development in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, driving requirements definition, risk analysis, and traceability across complex electromechanical systems. Shape technical strategy through design reviews while ensuring strict compliance with FDA, ISO, and IEC design control standards.

• Engineering degree
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering preferably in the medical device space
• Experience in a technical lead capacity
• Expertise in requirements management
• Ability to influence technical decisions and operate effectively in cross-functional teams
