Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to support the development of internal equipment, which will be installed and commissioned at various locations. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the design of custom automated equipment. The role involves working with Solid Works and PDM to ensure the efficient design of machinery. You will be provided with a clear scope of work and milestones to achieve throughout the project.
Responsibilities- Design and develop custom automated equipment using Solid Works.
- Support internal equipment installations and commissioning at various sites.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Utilize PDM for effective project management and design documentation.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly with custom automated equipment.
- Proficiency in Solid Works design and PDM systems.
- Experience in machine design and new product development.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with automated equipment or machine design is highly desirable.
- 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering is a plus.
The role is based at the Minneapolis site, which specializes in building custom equipment for manufacturing. The team consists of approximately 18 Mechanical Engineers, with additional support from Electrical Design/Drafting and Controls Engineering teams.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $65.00/hr.
