Recruitment Consultant | U.S. MEPF Engineering -

The company that I am working alongside for this role is a nationally leading MEP consultancy firm with office locations in a number of different states. They are strongly renowned for their impressive track record of innovative projects across multiple market sectors and are also 100% employee-owned, meaning each employee has a direct stake in the firm's growth and future.

The firm's growing MEP division is seeking a full-time Electrical Discipline Leader to help drive its continued expansion. This role offers the chance to guide significant projects, influence the future direction of building systems design and mentor developing engineers.

Role Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate an electrical engineering team, aligning skills with project needs.
  • Ensure high-quality design documentation through strong technical oversight.
  • Apply advanced electrical engineering expertise to complex projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Manage electrical design from early concept through project completion.
  • Specify electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
  • Oversee key team metrics, including financial performance and delivery.
  • Mentor staff and support strategic initiatives with leadership.
  • Contribute to client account management and business development efforts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering (electrical emphasis), or related field with electrical design experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design and project leadership.
  • Strong team leadership and client management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and BIM tools.
  • Background in business development is a plus.
