Sky Water is partnering with an industry‑leading industrial automation manufacturer in Minneapolis who’s looking to hire an Electrical Engineer for their growing team! Our client has been in business for over 50 years, they’ve been consistently growing year‑over‑year (around 10%), and they develop industrial automation products used by a variety of businesses (startups to Fortune 500 companies). In this role, the Electrical Engineer will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross‑functional engineering team supporting the design & development of cutting‑edge industrial automation products.

This position offers strong technical ownership, exposure to the full product development lifecycle, and long‑term career growth within a stable, engineering‑driven organization.

• Design & develop analog circuits for industrial automation products.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout design.
• Create & maintain engineering documentation (BOMs, ECOs, etc.).
• Train & provide technical guidance to technicians when needed.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product release activities.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of Electrical Engineering experience or similar role.
• PCB design and board layout experience preferred.
• Experience with embedded systems or analog design is a plus.
• Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
