Security Design Engineer – Direct Hire

Akkodis Group Nordics is looking for a Security Design Engineer for a direct hire position in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating SOWs and bids, developing detailed designs, and leading customer site visits to ensure accurate measurements and project success.

$110,000 to $115,000 per year (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).

• Conduct customer site visits to take accurate measurements and assess project requirements.
• Develop detailed designs and architecture for physical security systems, including CCTV and access control.
• Create comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs), bids, and quotes for proposed projects.
• Lead presales activities by collaborating with account managers and supporting project proposals.
• Serve as the lead engineer post-sale, assisting with design changes and ensuring successful implementation.
• Utilize AutoCAD for technical drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• Minimum 3+ years in physical security design, with presales and some post‑sales experience preferred.
• Proven expertise in CCTV and Access Control Systems (e.g., Lenel SQ, Genea, Hanwha, Avigilon, AXIS).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating technical designs and documentation.
