As a Sr. Specialist Building Operations, you’re responsible for dock operations including communication with partners, and performing and scheduling maintenance of dock equipment and building systems at Target headquarters properties. Responsibilities also include responding to work order requests, using a robust work order system, and teamwork on special projects. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.
Responsibilities- Perform and schedule dock equipment maintenance (HVAC, lighting, door hardware, compactors, balers, dock levelers, building management system).
- Respond to work order requests and utilize a work order system.
- Collaborate on special projects as directed.
- Report and perform job duties primarily on-site at a Target HQ location.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in or ability to learn building maintenance field (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building systems).
- Skilled in operation of hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license, Class D required.
- Forklift experience desired.
- Shipping/receiving experience, including documentation retention, desired.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet.
- Ability to learn PC skills related to building management systems, life safety systems, and work order applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
