Our client, a well-established steel fabrication company, is seeking an experienced Lead Detailer to serve as both a technical expert and a people leader on their detailing team. This hands-on leadership role requires master-level proficiency in Tekla Structures and extensive experience detailing miscellaneous metals and fabricated steel products. Beyond technical expertise, they want someone who genuinely enjoys developing people. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, a lifelong learner, and someone who enjoys sharing knowledge with others.
This person will lead by example—asking thoughtful questions, teaching and mentoring the team, and continuously seeking ways to improve how work gets done. The Lead Detailer will stay close to the work, providing technical guidance, reviewing drawings and models, resolving complex detailing challenges, and collaborating with Project Management, Engineering, Production, and field teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Tekla professional to apply their expertise to develop people, improve processes, and deliver high-quality work.
