Job Title: Private Equity Associate

Location: Walnut Creek, Bay Area or Minneapolis

Job Summary: We are working with a PE firm looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join their team as a Private Equity Associate. Our client is a leading middle-market private equity firm with $700M AUM
, investing out of Fund II and preparing to raise Fund III
. The firm focuses on founder-led businesses in consumer and business services, typically with EBITDA of $4-$5M
. Deal teams are lean and collaborative, providing Associates with meaningful exposure across all aspects of the transaction.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience: 2 years in Investment Banking (regional firms preferred)
• Sector Exposure: Generalist background in consumer, business services, or industrials.
• Education: Strong GPA required
• Mindset: Investor mentality, proactive, high integrity, strategic thinker. Passion for investing demonstrated through personal or academic involvement.

Private Equity Associate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
