Our client is a well-established investment management firm in the Minneapolis area looking for a Tax Associate. The group is small, collaborative, and offers hands‑on exposure across multiple tax areas, strong mentorship, and a good work‑life balance.
Base pay range$50,000.00/yr – $65,000.00/yr
Compensation DetailsBase salary $50k–$65k plus a discretionary 15% annual bonus.

- Typical 40‑hour workweeks, hybrid schedule
- Provide support to the tax team across multiple areas of compliance, planning and administration.
- Assist in preparing individual, fiduciary, tax‑exempt, and partnership tax returns.
- Assist in sourcing and creating paperwork for returns.
- Assist tax team members with tax planning.
- Track outstanding issues and correspondence with various taxing authorities.
- Other duties as assigned based on business need.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field
- 0–3 years of tax experience
- Progress towards CPA preferred
- Working knowledge of tax preparation software
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
