* * to join our Partnership Tax Consulting practice.
** How you’ll
* create opportunities
* in this Tax Senior – Partnership Tax Consulting*
* ** role:
*** Serve as a member of the Partnership Tax Consulting team.
* Participate in collaborative team projects involving partnership transactions, including preparing IRC Section 704(b) and inside tax capital accounts, as well as tracking and allocating IRC 704(c) built-in gains and losses.
* Communicate with team and clients and keep all informed of engagement progress and issues encountered.
* Keep up to date with new federal tax developments.
* Assist project leaders with scoping new projects.
* Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers growth, autonomy, and encouragement to make things happen.

* What you will need:

*** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, JD Degree or a related field
* 2+ years' of experience performing partnership compliance, an understanding of accounting methods, and creation of tax basis balance sheets.
* CPA eligible preferred
* Foundational understanding of subchapter K, familiarity with targeted allocations, and some experience with complex partnership transactions preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Alteryx is preferred
