My client is seeking a banking and finance attorney to join their team in downtown Minneapolis.
What You’ll Do- Represent banks, financial institutions and non-bank lenders in commercial lending transactions
- Draft and negotiate complex loan documentation
- Handle real estate, construction, land development and asset-based lending deals
- Review and manage due diligence materials through closing
- Advise lender clients on matters of varying size, regionally and nationally
- JD and active Minnesota bar license
- 6-7+ years of substantive commercial banking or lending experience (strong mid-level candidates considered)
- Front-end lending experience representing financial institutions
- Strong drafting, analytical and project-management skills
- Business development success or a portable book is a plus
