The Head of Core Digital Payments will lead the strategy, modernization, commercialization, risk posture, client experience, and financial performance of U.S. Bank’s core ACH and Wires product portfolio. This leader will serve as the end-to-end owner for foundational money movement capabilities that support commercial, treasury, small business, corporate, and enterprise clients across digital and file-based channels. Product leaders at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy while staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, regulatory, and customer needs.

This role requires senior-level product ownership over regulated, high-volume payment rails; direct leadership of product talent; frequent engagement with senior business, risk, technology, operations, and go-to-market leaders; and accountability for portfolio-level outcomes that materially impact client experience, revenue growth, operational resiliency, risk management, and U.S. Bank’s payments modernization agenda. • - Set the multi-year product vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for U.S. Bank’s ACH and Wires portfolio, aligning to enterprise payments strategy, client needs, modernization priorities, risk expectations, and financial objectives.
• - Run the ACH and Wires portfolio as a business, with accountability for revenue, transaction growth, pricing, client adoption, digital migration, platform health, risk indicators, operating efficiency, and cost-to-serve.
• - Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management across discovery, business case development, funding prioritization, requirements, delivery, launch, commercialization, servicing, performance management, and ongoing optimization.
• - Drive modernization of core payment platforms, client-facing experiences, file/API connectivity, operational workflows, controls, reporting, servicing, and fraud mitigation capabilities.
• - Own product governance and prioritization, making tradeoffs across regulatory commitments, client demand, risk remediation, platform resiliency, modernization, revenue growth, and capacity constraints.
• - Partner with technology, operations, risk, compliance, legal, sales, treasury management, client service, implementation, finance, data, and marketing teams to deliver secure, reliable, scalable, and commercially viable payment solutions.
