Job TitleMedical Insurance Coordinator
OverviewThis role involves ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between families, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Permanent role
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, insurance providers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure client file compliance with insurance requirements following established guidelines set by management.
- Facilitate successful physician appointments by transmitting necessary insurance documentation prior to scheduled visits and verifying appointment attendance.
- Guide families in obtaining clarification from their insurance providers regarding coverage and requirements.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and resolutions, as well as actions taken in accordance with HIPAA policies.
- Develop and maintain proficient working knowledge of customer relations systems (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and other relevant databases.
- 3+ years of experience with Medical Insurance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Efficient problem analysis and problem‑solving skills.
- Computer literate with demonstrated ability to learn new programs.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
