AboutThis Position
The Pharmacy Informatics Specialist provides leadership, consultation, and coordination of informatics systems and processes that integrate pharmacy, computer, and information science for customer‑centered care and outcomes. The Specialist is responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of information systems as they relate to pharmacy. The Specialist supports ongoing activities and analyzes future needs for Pharmacy Information Systems; analyzes data and compiles meaningful reports for pharmacy management;
and works collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, pharmacy leaders, interdisciplinary teams and committees, IT staff, and the organization in improving information for decision‑making.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. required;
Pharm.
D. degree preferred. - Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program preferred.
- Degree or training in information technology preferred.
- Advanced PC applications and operations skills required (e.g., database, spreadsheet applications/software).
- Ability to seek creative solutions, and possessing initiative and decisiveness.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written presentation.
- Ability to work both independently and in a complex team environment; collaborate with external and internal professionals and other customers.
- Skills in prioritization, problem solving, organization, decision‑making, time management, and planning.
- Ability to provide leadership and promote teamwork.
Licensed by MN State Board of Pharmacy – State Requirement.

Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked. - Employment Sponsorship:
