First Day Homecare® is a leading homecare provider with locations across the U.S., specializing in Private Duty Nursing and other home and community-based services. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to grow with us as we expand into the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN market. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing personalized care to clients with chronic conditions, disabilities, or memory care needs.

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor
Provides Supervision To: NA – No supervision responsibilities

• Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation to clients according to the care plan
• Assist client with general Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, meals, and safe ambulation/transfers
• Report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor as outlined in the care plan
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency
• Work collaboratively with the client’s care team and ensure effective communication
• Promote client safety by following infection control practices and reporting unsafe conditions
• Attend in-service programs to meet compliance and notify supervisors of any educational needs

• Successful completion of a formal Minnesota certification training program or an Agency-administered training program that meets the requirements of Medicare Condition of Participation 42 CFR 484.80
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Previous experience providing care to adults in a home or facility setting preferred
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and in good repair
• Current CPR certification

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
