Job Summary
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) for locum shifts in Minneapolis, Minnesota, starting ASAP. The position offers 3 months of coverage with an option to extend or convert to permanent and a competitive market rate.
Location & ScheduleMinneapolis, Minnesota (MN).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Full‑time coverage: 5x8‑hour shifts, no call.
686‑bed acute care hospital, Trauma Level III/IV. Inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit. 11–16 patients per day. Strong focus on hematology (benign and malignant). EMR: EPIC.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary patient care in the inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit.
- Manage a caseload of 11–16 patients daily within advanced practice scope.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and physicians.
- Document care and orders using the EPIC system.
- Minnesota license, active and unrestricted.
- Board Certified PA or NP.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong hematology experience (benign and malignant).
