Travel Echo Technologist​/Cardiac Sonographer - Echo​/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with a minimum of 5 years of experience for a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital setting.

• Minimum 5 years of experience required
• BLS and RDCS-Adults required; RDCS-Peds preferred
• License required if applicable
• Inpatient and ER work setting experience required; outpatient, teaching hospital, PICU, neonate, and NICU experience preferred
• Portable studies and Syngo experience required; IV starts, PACS, and biopsy experience preferred
• Experience required in 3D echo, bubble study, contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and treadmill stress echo
• Siemens and Philips equipment experience preferred
• Pending state license accepted

• Inpatient and outpatient echo department scanning 75-100 studies per day
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Block scheduling available for Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday rotations
• Weekend shifts required depending on schedule
• No on-call requirement
• May float within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Charting via Excellian/Epic
• 672 staffed beds, Short Term Acute Care, Magnet, Teaching, Level III Trauma facility
• Grey scrub color
• RTO ideally no more than 5 days
• Returning employees must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as perm staff or per diem
• Local candidates accepted
• First-time travelers not accepted
