Room Attendant

The Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel is seeking a creative, skilled, guest-focused Room Attendant to join their team of fun-spirited team members! Must work evenings & weekends. The 250+ room hotel, with nearly 5,000 square feet of meeting space, is conveniently located for business and leisure travelers. Our property is just a short drive from the world-famous Mall of America. Some of our features include a full-service, modern American Restaurant concept featuring creatively crafted interpretations of Food and Beverage with a Minnesota twist.

Other amenities include our indoor heated junior Olympic-sized pool, whirlpool, and 24-hour fitness center.

The pay Range is $17.00–$17.50, based on experience, paid time off, wellness programs, excellent hotel discounts, and more. Eligible for up to two raises per year during their first four years of employment.

In this role, you will excel in delivering outstanding Guest Services as a vital member of our Housekeeping TEAM. You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining guest satisfaction by creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere. From the moment guests enter their room, the attendant ensures they experience a sense of relief and comfort.

$17 per hour

• Provide exceptional service to our guests by promptly addressing their requests with genuine engagement and thoughtfulness, ensuring their complete satisfaction.
• Ensure guest satisfaction includes promptly returning lost or accidentally left behind items in our hotels.
• Prepare carts with all necessary supplies to ensure seamless and efficient cleaning of assigned guest rooms throughout the day.
• Demonstrate a commitment to cleanliness by dusting surfaces, disposing of trash, cleaning bathrooms, and refreshing bed linens and towels in guestrooms, ensuring every detail shines perfectly.
• Report supply levels and equipment issues promptly to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Meet deadlines, including thoroughly cleaning a minimum of 16 rooms per day.

• Lift, carry loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Push and pull wheeled carts weighing up to 50 - 100lbs.
• Extend arms overhead, scrub, bend, and stoop for extended periods and work in confined spaces.
• Meet deadlines, including thoroughly cleaning a minimum of 16 rooms.

• Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
