Regional HR Manager – Bloomington, MN

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Regional HR Manager to provide comprehensive Human Resources support as a business partner across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Regional Human Resources Officer and legal counsel to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve employee relations issues and provide effective coaching.
  • Lead managers through the company performance and compensation management cycle; educate employees and managers on these processes.
  • Partner with leaders to increase employee engagement and facilitate coordination of company training programs.
  • Assist management with employee satisfaction, retention efforts, and the administration of leave‑of‑absence and workers’ compensation claims.
  • Coordinate approvals and process compensation adjustments and promotions.
  • Partner with the recruiting team to source and hire talent, manage the offer process, and oversee effective onboarding of new hires.
  • Lead or actively participate in local and regional staff meetings.
  • Coordinate formal disciplinary actions as needed and manage employee off‑boarding, including exit interviews.
  • Maintain professional and technical HR knowledge and may oversee general office operations, managing HR generalists and/or other office administration staff.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years relevant HR experience with a strong understanding of broad HR practices.
  • College degree required, preferred concentration in HR or a related field.
  • Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM‑CP) preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency with internet‑based programs and Microsoft Office products, including Excel; HRIS experience preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to drive results, and sound ethical and business judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and partnership skills at all organizational levels.
  • Effective management of confidential information and comprehensive knowledge of applicable labor laws.
