System Administrator

Open Access Technology International (OATI) is a leading technology partner with a culture of collaboration and growth.

The OATI System Administration team is expanding and we are looking for a skilled System Administrator to support our advanced Energy Industry applications and core systems infrastructure.

• Plan, configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot a variety of network systems and server environments.
• Install, configure and support OATI’s Energy Industry applications with internal Development staff.
• Respond to incidents and provide timely resolutions to production issues.
• Support 24/7 on‑call rotation and be available for overnight and weekend support.
• Collaborate with IT and Development teams to automate tasks and improve system reliability.

• Minimum 4 years of experience or industry certifications/degree (CompTIA Server+/Cloud+, A.S./A.A.S. in Information Technology, System Administration, Computer Science, or related; Bachelor’s preferred).
• 24/7 availability as part of an on‑call rotation.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Acceptable background investigation report.
• Local to MN.

• Windows Server – Advanced installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• SQL Server – Installation and configuration.
• IIS – Installation and configuration of websites and FTP sites.
• Active Directory – User and group creation, GPO management.
• Scripting – Ability to write and deploy scripts for task automation and system administration.
• Virtualization – Creating and managing guests in a virtualized environment; ESXi experience preferred.
• Hardware – Troubleshooting and repairing server hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities.

• SAN – Storage administration and troubleshooting on EMC, 3
  
  PAR, and other vendors.
• Email – Management, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange and message hygiene gateway products.
• Monitoring Systems – Ipswitch Whats Up Gold and similar SNMP/WMI monitoring.
