Director of Data Quality

** As Senior Director of Data Quality at Epicor, you will lead a transformative enterprise-wide initiative to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across our billion-dollar software organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic data quality framework that supports analytics, AI-driven products, and regulatory compliance. We are seeking applicants with strong business acumen, deep technical expertise in data governance, and a passion for building scalable systems that drive operational excellence and customer trust.
** What you will be doing:
*** Develop and execute a company-wide data quality strategy aligned with business growth and compliance goals
* Lead three specialized teams—Data Governance, Audit & Data Stewards, and Data Operations—totaling 10–20 professionals
* Architect and scale automated governance controls, audit dashboards, and correction processes across enterprise systems
* Present data quality metrics and insights to executive leadership and board-level committees
* Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders including product, marketing, finance, and external partners
* Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks to maintain 99.5%+ data accuracy
* Foster a culture of data excellence, mentorship, and continuous improvement across all teams
** What you will likely bring:
*** 10+ years’ experience in data management, including 7+ years in leadership roles
* 5+ years’ experience in enterprise data governance and quality management
* Experience managing large-scale data initiatives in $1B+ software organizations
* Expertise in data lake architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and big data technologies
* Proficiency with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Data Robot) and governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation)
* Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power

BI, Looker)
* Experience with Salesforce, marketing, and finance data domains
