Senior Business Intel Developer

Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking a Senior Business Intel Developer.

• Designs, develops, and provides end‑user support for implementation and usage via Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure/Synapse
• Evaluates user requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, time requirements, and compatibility with existing systems and capabilities
• Creates and documents reusable Business Intelligence objects and templates
• Develops the business semantic layer for end‑user

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 7 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
• 5 years of experience with BI applications; decision support systems, query and reporting, online analytical processing, statistical analysis, forecasting, and data mining
• 4 years of experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data
• Working experience in Information security management is preferred
• tSQL Querying – intermediate to advanced experience
• MDX/DAX – intermediate to advanced experience

• Data mining

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
