Role:
  • As an PCI IT Senior Project Manager, you are expected to manage a year-long PCI program for one of the top clients of America as well as the Optimization for the desired future state.
  • The PCI Program is made of two main phases:
    • An off-season period where all teams involved with PCI scope are expected to keep PCI standards and prepare evidence + documentation updates for the PCI assessment period (high season).
    • A high-season starting around September, which consists in providing evidence, documentation, interviews, etc. related to assessing the PCI controls in place. The objective is to collect the ROC (Report Of Compliance) by April.
  • As the lead PM in the PCI program, you will also participate in another effort related to the optimization of the PCI program consisting in designing the future state of the program with sections like roles & responsibilities, global level standards, documentation repository design, etc.
  • The role demands strong leadership, organizational, and project-technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presentations to our company and our client's executive leadership teams.
  • The role also requires the generation of executive progress and status decks, budget control for labor and vendor costs, and delivering the necessary PMO documentation according to the PMO processes and tools guidelines.
  • Further PM will need to have previous experience in PCI assessments, standards, and requirements familiarity, which goes along with Vendor Scope, Budget, and Delivery management.
Core Responsibilities / Functions:
  • Deliver the projects' objectives on time and within budget, meeting strategic and business requirements.
  • Be the person in charge for the project via collaborative leadership where everyone has the space to collaborate, but it's expected for the PM to be in the driver seat and do not take a back seat.
  • Identify action items within the project team, track progress, and make sure project resources are clear about tasks (why, what) and due dates (when). Drive these action items with the project team to make sure progress is being tracked.
  • Create and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP) and detailed project schedule; identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and tasks. Understand the value and benefits of why the project is needed. Formulate and define the problem, scope, impacts and objectives of the project. Perform project schedule analysis to identify critical path and resource issues. Prepare high level estimates (time, resources, cost) as needed, confirming with others who have experience in the affected areas.

    Identify skills needed and work with functional managers to assure complete and appropriate resourcing. Ensure project scope delivers benefits expected.
  • Create a communication plan that includes both internal and external project communication documents, meetings, and reporting requirements, including maintenance of the project data in the Project Portfolio database.
  • Manage the project(s) from initiation through delivery, warranty, if applicable, and closure.
  • Collect and report on plan-to-actual progress to the project schedule, at individual project task and overall program/project levels.
  • Describe and follow project documentation within the ATA PMO Standards, including status reports, meeting minutes, risks, issues, decisions, action items and other communications.
  • Plan and manage successful change implementation, including standard operating procedures, change communication and any organizational change efforts introduced by the project and ensure postproduction changes are sustainable and work properly.
  • Manage the project budget by following up with resources in the project for time tracking entry in SNOW (Service Now) and translating costs plan and actuals into the budget tracking control template provided by the PMO area.
