Technology Technician

We're looking for a hands‑on Technology Technician with a strong background in communications, security systems, and networking infrastructure. This role involves working directly with clients to deploy and support cutting‑edge technology solutions across various industries. This position has the potential to develop into a management position as the company grows.

• Install and configure communications systems including VoIP, paging, and wireless networks
• Deploy and maintain physical security systems such as video surveillance, access control, and alarm systems
• Set up and troubleshoot network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and structured cabling, including fiber
• Perform site surveys and assist in solution design and planning
• Provide on‑site and remote technical support to clients
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and service calls
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in communications, security, and networking technologies
• Proficiency with IP‑based systems, network protocols, and low‑voltage installations
• Familiarity with brands such as Cisco, Ubiquiti, Axis, Hikvision, and similar
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or manufacturer‑specific credentials are a plus
• Some out‑of‑town travel
