Sr. Power BI Developer and Analyst

Power

BI Report Development, including modeling, performance optimization techniques, visualization design, Power Query and DAX. Experience with Azure SQL Database. SQL skills with expertise in windowed functions and performance tuning. Analytics skills – working with stakeholders gathering requirements.

• Exceptional Azure SQL skills
• Expertise in Windowed functions
• Performance tuning.
• Has direct experience building and troubleshooting complex views and stored procedures.
• Understands the difference between CTEs, temp tables, variable tables and the appropriate time to use them.
• Has created SQL tables and know the nuances of indexing practices.
• Has worked in a Data warehouse environment before leveraging type 2 SLD.
• Advanced knowledge of Power BI
• Data modeling techniques
• Report performance optimization best practices
• Visualization design
• Power Query
• DAX
• Has extensive experience working in the Power BI service
• Has administered power BI work spaces, pushing from dev->test->prod and updating associated apps.
• Understands Power BI Deployment pipelines
• Experience with Power BI GIT workspace integration
• Communication Skills – Will need to work directly with the business and IT Leadership.
• Will be managing relationships with stakeholders in the business.
• Will need to be prompt following up with support incidents.
