About the role:
As a UX Operations Manager you enable design and operations teams to move efficiently and with speed through the orchestration and optimization of people, processes, and tools across the Target enterprise.
- Partner with senior UX Operations managers to support process improvements and ongoing operational rhythms.
- Manage access, onboarding, permissions, and administration for core UX tools.
- Maintain accurate documentation, templates, and usage guidelines to support consistent tool adoption.
- Draft, edit, and publish UX operational communications such as newsletters, announcements and updates.
- Collect, organize, and validate operational data related to tools, resourcing, workflows, or team activity.
- Partner with internal teams to support licensing, budgets, upgrades, and user requests.
- Stay informed about emerging tools, features, and AI‑enabled capabilities relevant to UX operations.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of operational workflows and frameworks that improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and support team engagement.
- 2+ years of experience in UX operations, design program management, project coordination, operations, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
- Demonstrated knowledge of UX design processes and best practices.
- Clear, confident written communication skills, with experience drafting internal updates or operational content.
- Curious and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and apply AI‑enabled tools to improve everyday work.
- Collaborative and relationship‑oriented, with an interest in fostering community and shared ways of working.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and motivated by enabling others to succeed.
- Passion for design, user experience, and operational excellence.

This position operates as Hybrid/Flex for Your Day: core responsibilities are performed both onsite at Target HQ, MN and virtually, depending upon team and task requirements. Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
