Senior IT Project Manager

SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior IT Project Manager that will be responsible for the management of complex company strategic initiatives to achieve company goals. Responsible to lead and manage the implementation phases of one or more highly complex IT projects impacting several business functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform end to end project management of medium to large initiatives, including;
Partnering with business leadership Managing project delivery across internal IT Partnering with third party vendors and service providers

Handle all aspects of assigned initiatives; including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues

Establish metrics to proactively identify areas of risk and planning for mitigation

Manage projects across internal ITS teams, business services groups, field operating groups, and third party software partners

Engage with cross-functional business teams to ensure access to subject matter experts (SME’s) Engage with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to report on program status, scope, schedule, and budget

Promote, provide input, and assist with construction of the Portfolio Management capability

Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, scope definition, risk identification, mitigation, and project financial management

General understanding of Business Architecture concepts (capability mapping, blueprinting, etc.) is preferred
