Deployment Technician

Join a team responsible for preparing and deploying technology equipment for end users across the organization. This is a hands-on role focused on imaging devices, installing software, configuring systems, and preparing equipment for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following established deployment processes.

Responsibilities

+ Image and configure desktops and laptops according to company standards

+ Download, install, and validate required software applications

+ Ensure devices are properly configured and ready for deployment

+ Pull and install the correct software packages based on deployment requirements

+ Perform basic system testing and quality checks prior to shipment

+ Package and prepare equipment for delivery to end users

+ Track deployment activities and maintain accurate documentation

+ Work closely with team members to meet deployment schedules and project deadlines

+ Follow established processes for hardware preparation and software installation

Requirements

+ 2+ years of experience in PC deployment, device staging, hardware preparation, or IT support

+ Experience installing and configuring Windows-based systems and software applications

+ Familiarity with desktop imaging or software deployment processes

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures

+ Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy

+ Strong organizational and time-management skills

+ Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
