Epic Certification- Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification required
- Additional certifications preferred:
- Epic Resolute Professional Billing
- Epic Charge Router
- Epic Hospital Billing (HB)
- Epic Reporting Workbench
- Clarity Data Model
Senior-Level Experience
- 5–8+ years of healthcare IT experience
- 3–5+ years supporting Epic PB specifically
- Experience leading implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects
- Experience supporting multiple hospitals or health systems
- Demonstrated ownership of complex application build and workflow redesigns
Strong understanding of
- Professional billing workflows
- Claims management
- Charge capture
- Coding and reimbursement
- Denials management
- Provider billing operations
- Application configuration and maintenance
- Workflow analysis and optimization
- Upgrade planning and testing
- Integrated testing
- Incident and problem management
- Change control processes
- End-user support and troubleshooting
A Senior PB Analyst should be proficient in
:
- Epic PB build and maintenance
- Chronicles and master files
- Clarity data and reporting
- Interfaces and integrated workflows
- Revenue cycle reporting and analytics
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of
- CMS-1500 claims
- Professional provider billing
- CPT, HCPCS, and ICD coding concepts
- Medicare and commercial payer requirements
- Regulatory compliance and reimbursement methodologies
- Lead complex projects and implementations
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME)
- Facilitate meetings with operational stakeholders
- Develop documentation and training materials
- Influence workflow and system design decisions
