Temporary Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Overview

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Temporary Real Estate Attorney to join a respected law firm in the Twin Cities. This is a contract opportunity with an onsite work model.

• Handling real estate transactions with a primary focus on title and survey matters.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving title insurance commitments, exceptions, endorsements, and survey issues.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, and related contracts.
• Conducting due diligence and preparing title and survey summaries for transactions.
• Coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other parties involved in real estate deals.
• Managing files to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
• Providing legal support as needed to the real estate team.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law.
• 3+ years of experience practicing real estate law, with significant focus on title and survey review.
• Strong knowledge of title insurance commitments, endorsements, and applicable title standards.
• Experience conducting real estate due diligence and resolving title and survey issues.
• Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team.
