Director of Attorney Recruiting at Stinson LLP

Stinson LLP is seeking an Associate with three to five years of experience to join our growing Corporate Finance Division in our Minneapolis office.

Qualifications
  • Active Minnesota attorney license required.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, leveraged buyout, and/or capital markets transactions.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading, managing, or substantially contributing to M&A, PE investment / leveraged buyout transactions, and/or capital markets transactions.
  • Preferred: experience in corporate governance matters, venture capital investment transactions, private equity offerings of equity and/or debt securities, and/or providing advice with respect to Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings and proxy statements.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams serving sophisticated, national clients on dynamic and fast‑paced transactions.
  • Prepare and review legal documents and deliverables as part of transaction support.
  • Assist in the recruitment and assessment of attorneys (as part of the recruiting team).
Compensation & Benefits

Our associate compensation structure has two components: a base salary (based on an 1850 billable hour target) and a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The salary range for this role is $200,000 – $215,000.
