Stinson LLP is seeking an Associate with three to five years of experience to join our growing Corporate Finance Division in our Minneapolis office.
Qualifications- Active Minnesota attorney license required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity, leveraged buyout, and/or capital markets transactions.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience leading, managing, or substantially contributing to M&A, PE investment / leveraged buyout transactions, and/or capital markets transactions.
- Preferred: experience in corporate governance matters, venture capital investment transactions, private equity offerings of equity and/or debt securities, and/or providing advice with respect to Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings and proxy statements.
- Collaborate with teams serving sophisticated, national clients on dynamic and fast‑paced transactions.
- Prepare and review legal documents and deliverables as part of transaction support.
- Assist in the recruitment and assessment of attorneys (as part of the recruiting team).
Our associate compensation structure has two components: a base salary (based on an 1850 billable hour target) and a discretionary merit bonus based on performance. The salary range for this role is $200,000 – $215,000.
