This is a 7 week role covering a leave for a fantastic non profit. This role is remote but you must live in MN, IL or TX to be considered!

This temporary Marketing Project Manager role is all about creating order, accountability, and forward motion across integrated marketing initiatives. You’ll serve as the operational heartbeat of the marketing team—translating strategy into executable plans, aligning cross-functional partners, and ensuring projects move forward smoothly from kickoff to completion.

• Own marketing project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across multiple initiatives
• Translate strategy into clear, actionable work streams with defined deliverables
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and scope changes—then solve for them
• Serve as the central point of communication across marketing, creative, digital, and campaign partners
• Lead project kickoffs, status updates, and retrospectives to drive alignment and accountability
• Manage work intake, prioritization, and sequencing to ensure efficient use of team resources
• Maintain clear documentation, approvals, and handoffs across teams
• Provide leadership with visibility into progress, timelines, and risks

• 5+ years of experience in marketing project management
• Proven success managing complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
• Experience partnering with creative, digital, and campaign teams
• High proficiency with project management tools (Asana experience strongly preferred)
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
• Confidence owning delivery while escalating risks and decisions appropriately
