Senior Accounting Manager

Our client, a Minneapolis-based organization, seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to join a collaborative, flexible, and tenured team in a hybrid setting.

The role requires 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years of supervisory experience, and a strong record of leadership.

Base pay: $123,000 – $154,000 per year.

• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of audits.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Oversee annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with FP&A and other business partners to develop and drive business objectives.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA are preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership skills with dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Proactive risk and opportunity anticipation with a vision for continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to be understood by non‑financial customers.
