Job Summary

Directs and manages the Home Service Plus sales and service business functions, including operations for efficient service delivery, sales strategy development and implementation. Lead the Home Service Plus business units, and support groups to achieve short and long-term business growth objectives. Develop and maintain positive relationships with inter-department leaders to deliver best-in-class customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement. Represents the company in the industry and community maintaining effective industry and customer relations with active community involvement.

Functions
  • Manages the Home Service Plus operations and sales activities to assure consistent compliance with regulatory requirements, operating standards, company policies, guidelines and processes.
  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for our customers and employees.
  • Cultivates relationships with business leaders, OEM and distributor representatives, industry partners and community contacts to achieve business results.
  • Has responsibility for departmental and HSP business unit goal achievement.
  • Provides guidance and direction to supervisors, non-exempt and/or exempt employees in field, office, and support work groups.
  • Coordinates emergency response efforts with various district and operations groups.
  • Oversees training and onboarding program to ensure new employees receive appropriate training regarding job functions and responsibilities.
  • Manages the long-range forecasting of required resources based on a comprehensive understanding of customer demand, workload capacity, weather and geographic variances and business objectives.
  • Utilizes systems and other resources to monitor and adjust short-term workload plans to assure appropriate levels of service delivery on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Shared responsibility to evaluate business growth, create and maintain the Home Service Plus business unit strategic profile and overall business health.
  • Manages and continually improves work processes that result in efficient and effective strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction best practices.
  • Cultivates positive business relationships throughout the organization and with key external stakeholders to solve problems.
  • Provides leadership to the Home Service Plus business unit and special project teams ensuring development, execution and implementation of successful business initiatives.
  • Has financial/budget and people management responsibility including compensation, performance management, development, and resource planning for department/area of responsibility.
Education
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in business administration, marketing, engineering or related field. A minimum of seven (7) years of applicable work experience in a related field can be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
Experience
  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in one of the following: operations, sales, retail or related field, including a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor or manager.

Annually $113,800 to $170,700
