Regional Station Manager Overview

Sun Country Airlines seeks a Regional Station Manager to manage, coordinate, and participate in all supervisory, and operational components at assigned stations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains professional work relationships with vendors, travel wholesalers, other airport tenants, the FAA, and airport management.
  • Plans resources for contracting and contracted services in assigned station.
  • Monitors and maintains ground equipment ensuring sufficient support to handle fluctuating operations.
  • Coordinates cooperation from other departments through proper management protocol.
  • Plans, organizes and evaluates operational functions to ensure compliance with company standards as well as all FAA, OSHA, Customs, safety and security regulations.
  • Monitors and maintains scanning operations USPS/ASI database and distributes day‑to‑day operational information.
  • Audits related training and operating manuals for regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for station on‑time performance, baggage mishandles, passenger wait times, and budget variances.
  • Any other duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
  • Four‑year college degree.
  • Two or more years of experience as a supervisor or manager in an airport or airline operation environment.
  • Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Ability to multi‑task at a high level.
  • Strong customer focus, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
