Pay Range: $16.80 - $23.10
Position Summary: The Assembler is responsible for packaging and final assembly of kits, including reviewing schedules, assembling kits, inspecting finished products, printing labels, labeling and capping products, breaking down expired kits, and participating in cycle counts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow kitting documents to pack orders for shipment
- Inspect finished products prior to packaging
- Box, shrink wrap, label, and package shipments
- Assemble components to meet cycle times and quality standards
- Document results and refer to batch records
- Maintain tracking sheets for product status
- Use applicable databases to gather products based on work orders
- Ensure accurate picking and packing of orders
- Organize storage areas (coolers, freezers, shelves)
- Follow lab protocols and SOPs, and properly use equipment and hand tools
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; up to 2 years relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Follow work instructions and priorities
- Stand and move to pack orders
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn multiple functions within the department
