CNC Programmer / Advanced Machinist – Minneapolis Glass Company, Brooklyn Park, MN

Full‑time, first shift (6:00 am–2:30 pm), competitive union salary starting at $28.72 / hr. (progresses to $31.75 / hr. after 12 months). Eligible for daily overtime after 8 hrs. As a CNC Programmer, you will program and operate various glass fabrication CNC machines (Intermac, Denver, CMS). You will develop new DFX (digital exchange format) programs from customer drawings, optimize existing CNC programs, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and serve as the subject‑matter expert converting drawings into processable CNC glass products. You will mentor less experienced CNC operators and collaborate with production and sales teams on fabricated designs.

• Program and operate CNC machines for glass fabrication.
• Develop and optimize DFX programs from customer drawings.
• Analyze and troubleshoot CNC drawing & manufacturing challenges.
• Mentor and train less experienced CNC operators.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and design teams on CNC‑fabricated projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced training in mechanical design, drafting, or AutoCAD preferred.
• 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• 5+ years of advanced machining and proven ability to program, set up, and operate manufacturing CNC machines.
• Experience with CNC machines for glass, stone, metal, or plastic materials.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lb unassisted and standing 8 hrs per day.
• Ability to flex between a manufacturing environment and office setting.
