- Perform start-up, shutdown and normal operation of the Boiler which includes routine checks, chemical analysis and adjustments, and the operation of the boiler on all fuel sources.
- Complete log entries of the machine and other necessary reports.
- Problem solves when issues with the machine and support equipment arise.
- Make starch for use by the Corrugator.
- Operate the wastewater system.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Licensed as Boiler First Class Engineer Grade B or above.
- Experience in operation and basic maintenance for Boilers
- Strong safety background and good attendance record.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including overtime and weekends.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and be good communicator.
Licensed as Boiler Chief Engineer Grade B or above .
