Base Pay Range: $21.65 - $29.76
Position SummaryThe Manufacturing Electronics Technician provides production support within our production facility and is crucial for keeping automated lines running. This position will be on our weekend shift, working from Friday-Sunday 6 am - 6:30 pm. It will be required to work on our first shift for 2 weeks during training.
What You’ll Be Doing- Install and maintain various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes (sensors, transmitters, control valves, actuators, PLCs).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and control systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other stakeholders to optimize control strategies, communicate effectively, and address operational challenges.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of directly related experience
- Associate’s degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Microsoft Office Suite Experience (including logging and communicating data through Excel spreadsheets)
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work independently
- PLC – Allen Bradley Product Knowledge
- Compactlogix or CCW (connected components workbench)
- Experience with CMMS software such as Mpulse or EPAC
- Familiarity of Banner product
- Sit for up to 8 hours per day
- Exposed to a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day
- Use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other standard office equipment
- Perform manual tasks, including operation of hand and power tools
- Lift at least 50 lbs
- Bend and maneuver in tight, cramped quarters
- Grip and manually manipulate items with repetitive motion (hand tools and machine parts)
- Read, write, communicate, and understand instructions and procedures in English
- Work outside of a normal shift rotation during call-outs or planned maintenance outage
- Use arms, hands, and fingers to reach, handle, and feel to complete tasks
- Exposure to moderate noise, moving mechanical parts, and temperature changes in production areas
- Manufacturing environment – indoor and climate-controlled
- PPE may be required in specific areas (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection)
