Greenheck Group is currently hiring to grow our weld team on 2nd shift. The starting pay is $23.18/hour and you will receive an additional $1.50 shift differential for working on 2nd shift.

Set up and operate equipment effectively and safely (welder, torch, plasma cutter, grinder)Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirementsSize up components and verify they are within specified tolerancesSet up weld equipment for specific task to be performedWeld components using proper equipment and techniques. Grind and finish welds to make aesthetically appealingOperate material handling equipment as needed, based on safety guidelinesPerform daily housekeeping tasks and preventative maintenance tasksHigh level of focus and concentration level to ensure quality work and to avoid safety hazardsMinimum Qualifications:Must be 18+Between 6-12 months welding experienceBasic math, reading and computer skillsAbility to pass welding test on material in useAbility to operate basic hand/power tools and read measuring devicesAbility to distinguish the various thickness and types of materialStrong attention to detail and high focus on safety and qualityPhysical Demands:
Must lift up to 50-75 lbs. on a routine basis
Stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day
