R&D​/Product Development Manager

We are partnering with a well‑established and growing meat processing company with multiple Midwest locations to hire a Product Development / R&D Manager. This highly independent role focuses on developing and fine‑tuning smoked pork products, with an emphasis on bacon and ham. The manager will lead hands‑on product development efforts, ensuring product quality, flavor consistency, and customer satisfaction. The role does not have direct reports.

$80,000.00/yr – $/yr

The Product Development / R&D Manager will lead R&D and product development for smoked pork products, primarily bacon and ham. The manager will fine‑tune flavor profiles, develop and adjust ingredient formulations, and manage product trials. Customer communication and scheduling related to product development activities will also be part of the role, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance in all product development processes.

• Lead R&D and product development for smoked pork products, primarily bacon and ham.
