Continuous Improvement Engineer
Continuous Improvement Engineer is a manufacturing professional responsible for assessing production processes and offering solutions to improve them. They use the principles of lean manufacturing, a production method that aims to streamline work, increase efficiency and add value.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coach functional teams to identify and analyze losses and develop solutions and control plans using simple Lean tools such as SMED, Kaizen, Work Standards, etc.
- Identify and execute activities such as Kaizen events that focus on scrap reduction, utilization of Lean tools (5S, SMED, visual controls, Value Stream Mapping) and overall continuous improvement of all production lines.
- Provide technical support to develop and implement new cost savings and waste elimination programs, as well as execute active projects.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and implement process improvements through documenting and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and developing roles, responsibilities, and procedures that lead to standardization of work and improvements.
- Identify and work on capital projects involving new equipment or facility upgrades.
- Develop and implement training programs and training content to improve the skillsets of employees concerning continuous improvement and lean.
- Lead larger projects focused on targeted and specific efforts to increase uptime and help improve throughput.
- Work with production and maintenance teams to lead continuous improvements in plant operations, support change and foster cooperation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Chemistry, or other science‑related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preference for 2–5 years of related experience in regulated industries.
- Understanding of process flows of different product types.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- CAD software experience preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive base salary in the $75,000 to $95,000 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit‑sharing opportunities tied to performance.
