Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm (can be slightly flexible on start time)Pay rate: $25-30 per hour dependent upon level of education and experience
The Manufacturing Technician works in a laboratory manufacturing environment, operating and maintaining semi-automated equipment to fill liquid products into microtiter plates and vials and to package finished products. The role includes performing in-process quality checks, maintaining batch documentation, and supporting equipment troubleshooting.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate specialized production equipment (e.g., plate fillers and vial filling systems) to dispense liquid products into microplates and vials
Package standard vials into plastic pouches using automated or semi-automated packaging equipment
Perform batching, labeling, and packaging manually or with automated systems
Conduct in-process sampling, inspection, and testing using microscopes and other lab tools to verify batch specifications
Set up, calibrate, clean, and operate semi-automated manufacturing equipment
Maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, and component inventory
Adhere to laboratory protocols, SOPs, and safety and regulatory requirements
Assist with equipment troubleshooting and collaborate with Facilities or technical teams to minimize downtime
Meet production cycle times and quality expectations consistently
Follow daily work instructions and priorities established by production leadership
Support a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent required with 1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, automation, or laboratory environments
- Will consider entry-level graduates with a strong science background
Hands‑on experience with general laboratory equipment such as pipettes, analytical balances, microscopes, incubators, or degassing devices required
Prior experience operating material handling or automated packaging equipment preferred
Ability to work independently on routine tasks; more experienced candidates may work with minimal supervision
Ability to operate general laboratory equipment and automated material handling systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
