Job Title: CNC Swiss Machinist
We are looking for a dedicated CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team for the 1st shift. The role offers flexibility in start times from Monday to Friday, with shifts running from 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm. Candidates should be prepared for 5-10 hours of overtime in some weeks.
Responsibilities- Perform full set ups and changeovers independently on Nexturn and Hanwha Swiss machines.
- Run batch production ranging from 50 to 5,000 pieces.
- Complete 2-10 set ups per week.
- Read and interpret defense blueprints and understand GD&T symbols.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
- Maintain tolerances down to ±0.0001 inch.
- 2+ years of experience in setting up Swiss machines, preferably in the Aerospace/Defense sector.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T symbols.
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, and comparators.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Hanwha and Nexturn machines is advantageous.

Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a small to medium‑size machine shop with approximately 20 employees. The facility is an older building, yet it is well‑lit, organized, and clean. With around 40‑50 machines, including 30 manual ones, the company has been family‑owned and operated for over 50 years. It is known for its quality and has never had parts returned. The shop operates in the Aerospace industry, contributing parts to projects like the Rover on Mars and various satellites.
The facility is air‑conditioned.
This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits- Pay range: $52,000.00 – $83,200.00 per year.
