Acme Metal Spinning Inc is looking for a skilled Metal Spinner to join our team in Minneapolis, MN! This is a hands‑on manufacturing role where your craftsmanship and precision will directly shape the quality products our customers rely on. • Operate manual and/or CNC metal spinning lathes to form metal blanks into finished components
• Select and set up appropriate tooling, mandrels, and fixtures for each job
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to meet specifications
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on spinning equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality goals

• Prior experience in metal spinning, metal fabrication, or a related manufacturing role preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high-quality workmanship
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; vocational or trade school training a plus
