Shop Lead - Cabinetmaking​/Woodworking

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Shop Lead to help manage daily operations in our custom cabinetry and woodworking shop. This person will coordinate workflow, keep jobs moving, support the team, and perform hands-on shop work as needed.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily workflow, priorities, and job schedules.
Assign work and support shop employees.
Monitor quality, productivity, and deadlines.
Help resolve production issues and keep jobs moving.
Perform hands-on cabinetmaking, woodworking, and assembly work as needed.
Coordinate with management and other departments.

Qualifications:

Experience in cabinetmaking, woodworking, or manufacturing.
Previous experience leading a shop, production team, or crew preferred.
Ability to read shop drawings and understand production processes.
Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Comfortable working with woodworking machinery and tools
Reliable, hands-on, and able to lead by example.
