Where You’ll Fit Within the Team

As an FRWD Expert Consultant, you’ll drive key work streams within integrated Bain casework, partnering with client teams and cross‑functional peers across the Bain ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

• Lead key work streams, deliver results, and build client promoters.

Problem Solving and Case Delivery

• Drive key work streams (with leadership support) and deliver results to meet client expectations.
• Partner with generalist Bain consultants in a blended team environment.
• Demonstrate seasoned marketing expertise across distinct domains.
• Lead analyses and deliver insightful, error‑free outputs and materials.
• Leverage proficiency in digital ad, e‑commerce, and more to gather data and generate insights.
• Stay at the forefront of marketing technology and tools (GenAI, attribution, Mar Tech/AdTech, data).

Client Communication and Results

• Build trusting relationships with clients and agencies, collaborating with all parties.
• Communicate clearly and consistently, sharing insights and ensuring alignment.
• Bridge specialized expertise and client business challenges, transforming insights into actionable recommendations.

Extraordinary Teaming

• Maintain a consistently positive attitude and contribute across the case team.
• Actively seek and act on feedback from team, peers, and leaders.
• Share expertise and best practices within FRWD and the broader Bain ecosystem.
• Contribute to FRWD strategy and operations (e.g., sponsor internal initiatives, recruitment).

About You

• 5+ years of relevant marketing industry experience with clear leadership trajectory.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and analytics for complex problem‑solving.
• Experience with high‑performing, cross‑functional integrated teams.
• Hypothesis‑driven approach to solving tough problems.
• Demonstrated proficiency in specific marketing domains.
• Strong expertise in digital media landscape and industry best practices.
• Outstanding planning, organizational, and deadline‑management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Positive, at‑cause attitude.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• In addition to broad marketing expertise, deeper expertise in:
  • E‑commerce and retail media
  • Marketing measurement and analytics
  • Marketing technology
  • GenAI in marketing (e.g., agentic search)
  • B2B marketing
  • Client services experience
  • Certifications (Meta Blueprint, Google Ads, Adobe Marketing Platform, etc.)

U.S. Compensation Information

Compensation includes base salary, annual discretionary bonus, and 401(b) with employer contribution. Salary ranges (annualized):

• New York: $122,000 – $146,500
• Illinois: $107,000 – $128,500
• Minnesota: $97,000 – $117,000

Additional compensation: annual discretionary bonus and 4.5% 401(k) contribution.
