Position Overview

Tierra Encantada is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team! The Marketing Specialist drives local marketing efforts that deliver measurable results in enrollment growth, brand awareness, and community engagement. This role owns the execution of marketing initiatives for both existing and pre open corporate locations and provides ongoing support to center teams across the network.

This position will have a typical M-F day time work schedule and is onsite/hybrid (4 days per week in office, 1 day remote), with the expectation to be on site when business needs require it.

The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with marketing team members and operations colleagues to ensure consistent practices and strong marketing execution at the center level.

Key Responsibilities

Local Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Implement local marketing strategies that build awareness and drive interest in Tierra Encantada.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for local earned media (press coverage, parent publications, community blogs) to enhance visibility and credibility in the market.
  • Monitor online sentiment, responding to reviews, comments, and messages ensuring timely, professional, and brand aligned communication.
  • Partner with the Sr. Field Marketing Manager to develop community engagement plans across Tierra Encantada locations.

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Create social content for all channels, including short form video, photography, and graphics.
  • Prepare and deploy monthly social media calendars, ensuring consistent messaging and local relevance, across all social channels.
  • Oversee center generated content for established centers and provide guidance to administrative teams on posting best practices.
  • Test new content formats and platform features to strengthen engagement.
  • Monitor engagement across channels, including center pages, messages, and local community groups.

Event Planning and Support

  • Coordinate community event participation and on-site events (including grand openings, open houses, etc) including event planning, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Build event plans and checklists that guide centers through pre-, post-, and day-of event execution.
  • Capture event photos and highlights for use in social content and broader marketing efforts.
  • Provide on-site support for launch events of pre-open centers.
  • Represent Tierra Encantada at community events when needed.

Marketing Enablement and Resources

  • Provide day to day marketing support and coaching for center teams, helping troubleshoot questions and ensure consistent execution.
  • Manage marketing collateral needs and coordinate updates or improvements to resources.
  • Develop guides, resources, and playbooks to support local stakeholders and internal marketing team.
  • Train new center leadership and franchise teams on the usage of tools, resources and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Tierra Encantada brand standards, providing feedback and coaching to maintain alignment.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Track and analyze key marketing metrics,including event performance, reputation management, and social engagement.
  • Review and evaluate enter activity within brand and social tools and share insights that support stronger compliance and execution.
  • Report regularly on center-level marketing activity and performance to the Senior Field Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve marketing performance.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably with social media, content creation, or event marketing.
  • Experience creating social media content for a brand, including short form video and photography.
  • Proven ability to deliver measurable marketing results across multiple locations.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities.
