Manager, Social & Paid Digital Marketing

HYBRID | ONSITE AT JOSTENS' MINNEAPOLIS HEADQUARTERS 3 DAYS/WEEK

• The Paid Media Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of paid media, paid search, organic social, and organic search campaigns. This position focuses on driving strategy, execution, and optimization across multiple platforms to align with broader marketing objectives.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Coordinate the paid social strategy across the various social platforms for all marketing departments
• Use targeting and segmentation strategies to ensure ads are reaching the right audience.
• Present insights and recommendations to guide content creation by platform needs and complete campaign objectives.
• Lead the partnership with Media Agency to manage budget allocations, audiences and platform performance.

• Develop and execute paid search strategies across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search engines to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Continuously monitor and adjust bidding strategies to improve performance.
• Lead the partnership with Media Agency to manage budget allocations, audiences and platform performance.

• Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
• Collaborate with internal & external partner(s) to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across the website and other marketing material
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value keywords and search trends.
• Monitor organic search performance and use data to identify optimization opportunities.

• Conduct ongoing research on platform-specific trends to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and engaging, driving both audience interaction and enterprise sales.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including content, creative, and analytics—to improve brand visibility, foster engagement, and boost conversions.
• Educate teams on best practices for paid media and social media creative strategies to align efforts and maximize impact.
• Manage Social Listening and Responses with support teams.

Additionally, this role will also manage a Social Media Specialist and a Senior Social Media Specialist.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Brand Marketing, Social Marketing, or Digital Marketing, with demonstrated success in developing strategies for recognized brands, either from a client or agency perspective.
• Strong knowledge and experience managing, motivating, and building marketing teams (direct and cross-functional partners).
• Experience creating strategic paid media marketing plans that drive demand generation, customer acquisition programs.
• Experience leveraging integrated social marketing strategies and techniques to drive optimal value for promotions, media campaigns, product launches, brand initiatives, and other marketing programs.
• Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively, proactively and seamlessly amongst a large and complex cross-functional team.
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex strategic social concepts in streamlined, logical and well-designed decks.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
• Be able to foster an environment that encourages collaboration, risk-taking, innovation and creativity.

• 2+ years’ experience with Google Ads.
• 2+ years’ experience in SEO optimization.
• Proficient in GA4 or other web analytics platform.
