The North Central Nursing Clinics is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to add to our team. The North Central Nursing Clinics (NCNC), known in our communities as the Family Health Clinics, are a federally qualified health center (FQHC) providing access to high-quality primary healthcare services for the communities surrounding Burlington, Delphi, Monon, and Wolcott. What You’ll Be Doing:Under the supervision of NCNC’s Medical Director, core job functions include providing primary health care to the clinic population. This can include the care the consumer receives at the point of contact with the healthcare system and/or the continued care of the individual as a health care consumer. The care provided is two-dimensional: identification, management and/or referral of the health problems;
and the maintenance of the consumer's health by means of preventive and promotive health care action.
- Provide acute and chronic care to patients of all ages, from birth to older adults.
- Primarily provide healthcare services at the Delphi and Burlington clinics.
- While it is expected to be infrequent, this role may require travel to clinics in Monon and Wolcott, depending on business/coverage need.
- Work until 7:30pm one evening a week at the Delphi clinic.
Required:
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Certified to practice in the State of Indiana, including an Indiana State RN and APN license.
- Additional experience.
